About the Watch:

The Omega Sea Master 166.010 is an elegant, classic timepiece that wears beautifully for any occasion. It’s vintage yet modern styling enables it to transition with ease from formal to casual wear. The detail on the dial as well as the “beads of rice” bracelet add to the beauty of this timepiece.

The History:

The Sea Master is the longest-running product line in the Omega line up. Originally produced in 1948 for the British Navy, the Sea Master marked the first use of the O-ring gasket for water resistance by Omega. Later Sea Master models became popular due to their inclusion in the James Bond movies of the ’90s, and continue to remain so today.

The Watch:

The Sea Master 166.010 has a stainless steel, polished case with longer lugs, and the “beads of rice” style bracelet. It has a fixed, polished stainless steel bezel with a lightly domed Plexiglas Crystal. The dial has developed a cream-colored patina and has metal hour markers with dauphine style hands and an applied steel Omega logo just beneath the 12 o’clock position. A date window sits at the 3 o’clock position and the sea horse logo is etched on the screw-down case back.

The Details:

This Omega Sea Master 166.010 is in good condition. There are some wear markings and small nicks on the case, as visible in photos. The crystal is in good condition, as is the crown with the Omega logo still very visible. The dial has developed a cream-colored patina, with some spotting occurring towards the lower half of the watch, however, the logo, and all printed script on the dial are present and visible. The bracelet is in good condition and still has the Omega logo and script present.
