The Watch:  The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref 6284 features a 34mm stainless steel case and a highly-domed acrylic crystal and a self-winding movement.  The dial is white, which has developed a patina, and features a minute track at the outer edge, with applied gold arrowhead hour markers, an applied gold Rolex crown logo at the 12 o’clock position, gold sword-style hour and minute hands, and a blued seconds hand.  

The Details:  This Rolex 6284 is in vintage condition, with wear consistent with the age of this timepiece.  The serial number dates this watch to a production period of late 1954-early 1955.  The dial, hour markers, and hands have all developed patina, visible in the photographs.  This timepiece comes with an after-market brown leather strap with stainless steel tang-style buckle.
