The History:

Founded in 1868 by an American watchmaking pioneer, Florentine Ariosto Jones, the International Watch Company launched in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The Watch:

The IWC Portofino Chronograph IW378302 has a 41mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a solid case back and rectangular chronograph pushers. The dial is silver, with a sunburst pattern, and has gold stick hour markers, as well as gold Feuille-shaped hands, vertically-stacked hour and minute sub-dials with a smaller seconds dial at the 9 o’clock position, and a day-date window at the 3 o’clock position. Powered by a Calibre 79320 automatic movement, the Portofino Chronograph has a power reserve of 44 hours and a water resistance rating of 30 meters.

The Details:

This IWC Portofino Chronograph is in good condition. There is visible wear on the case, case back, and lugs. There is a scratch on the crystal on the right side of the dial between the 1 and 3 o’clock positions. This set comes with double boxes, a dated guarantee card, and a black alligator leather strap with stainless steel IWC buckle.
