The Tudor Pelagos FXD M25707B/23 is a rugged, purpose-built dive watch from Tudor’s Pelagos FXD line, with a striking blue theme inspired by its historical ties to the Marine Nationale. Also noteworthy is that on the original Tudor Submariner timepieces produced for the M.N. beginning in the mid-1950s, the engraving on the case back featured both the M.N. for the Marina Nationale and the year of production.  Tudor carried that tradition on with the release of the FXD, with the production year engraved next to the M.N.

  • The History:

Tudor began to produce watches in 1926, which could be marketed and manufactured as a more affordable timepiece than the Rolex line, while still keeping the same standard of dependability that Rolex had become known for.   Over the years, the product line grew to include the renowned Oyster Prince, as well as their diver watches, such as the Submariner series.  Tudor began producing timepieces for the French Navy in 1956.

The Tudor Pelagos FXD Ref 25707B features a 42mm titanium case with fixed bracelet bars, a sapphire crystal, and a steel case back.  The bidirectional rotating bezel is titanium with a ceramic insert and features 60-minute retrograde graduation for navigation by successive stages.  The navy blue dial has raised lumed hour plots and snowflake-style hands.  Powered by the COSC-certified Calibre MT5602, the Pelagos FXD has a 70-hour power reserve with a water resistance of up to 200 meters.

This Tudor Pelagos FXD Ref 25707B/23 includes the original outer and inner boxes, the warranty card dated May 2023, the serial number hang tag, the user manual, the warranty booklet with chronometer certification, the additional blue rubber strap with a titanium Tudor buckle, and the blue and gray Tudor Nato-style strap with a titanium loop.
