The Seiko Prospex Black Series Samurai Ref. SRPH11K1 is a bold, limited-edition automatic diver inspired by the mysterious world of night diving. Its 43.8mm stainless steel case features a distinctive black hard PVD coating, complemented by a matte black dial, black unidirectional bezel, and vivid orange minute hand for striking contrast and legibility. Powered by Seiko’s reliable Caliber 4R35 automatic movement with approximately 40 hours of power reserve, the watch offers a date display, LumiBrite illumination, screw-down crown, and 200-meter water resistance. Limited to just 8,000 pieces worldwide, the SRPH11K1 combines the rugged character of the iconic Samurai design with an unmistakably stealthy Black Series aesthetic.

  • The History:

Seiko began in 1881, when Kintaro Hattori opened a shop in central Tokyo to repair and sell watches.  Eleven years later, he opened a factory called the Seikosha Factory and began building wall clocks and pocket watches.  After an earthquake and fire destroyed the original factory, Hattori reopened with a new vision, which began what we know as Seiko today.  A true pioneer in watchmaking, Seiko developed the first Japanese-made diver’s watch.

The Seiko Prospex Black Series Ref SRPH11K1 features a 43.8mm stainless steel PVD-coated case, a Hardlex mineral crystal, and a unidirectional rotating bezel.  The black dial features lumed hour
markers, a lumed handset with an orange minutes hand, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position.  Powered by the Caliber 4R35 automatic movement, the SRPH11K1 features a 40-hour power
reserve and a 200-meter water resistance rating.
