About This Watch:

The Seiko Prospex Automatic Ref SPB213 was released as part of Seiko’s 140th Anniversary, with the design of this reference paying homage to the classic 62MAS Dive Watch.

The History:  Seiko began it’s rich history in 1881, when Kintaro Hattori opened a shop repairing and selling watches in central Tokyo.  Eleven years later, he opened a factory called the Seikosha Factory and began building wall clocks, and later pocket watches.  After an earthquake and fire destroyed the original factory, Hattori reopened with a new vision, which became the beginnings of what we know as Seiko today.  A true pioneer in watchmaking, Seiko developed the first Japanese made divers watch.

The Watch:  The Seiko Prospex Ref SPB213 features a 40.5mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal.  Powered by Seiko’s Caliber 6R35 automatic movement, the Prospex SPB213 has a 70-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 200 meters.  The SPB213 features a unidirectional rotating bezel, LumiBrite lume on the hands, indexes and bezel, a screw-down crown and a stainless steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp.

The Condtion:  This Pre-Owned Seiko Prospex Ref SPB213 includes both inner and outer boxes, instruction manual, warranty booklet, warranty card, hangtags, and the stainless steel Seiko three-fold bracelet with clasp.  Some wear is visible on the case and bracelet, which is visible in the photographs.
