Vintage Tissot Automatic 10K Yellow Gold with Linen Crosshair Dial and Caliber 28.5R-21 Movement

Tissot boasts a rich history dating back to 1853. Founded by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile, in Le Locle, Switzerland, the company initially focused on pocket watches, achieving notable success in the Russian market. Tissot later became known for pioneering innovations like the first mass-produced pocket watch with two time zones, the first anti-magnetic watch, and the first plastic mechanical watch.

This Tissot Automatic features a 33mm 10K yellow gold-plated stainless steel case with a stainless steel case back, signed crown, and an acrylic crystal.  The linen dial with a crosshair pattern has developed patina, with applied hour markers and numerals, and with dagger-shaped hour and minute hands.  The automatic Tissot Caliber 28.5R-21 movement powers this timepiece.

This Tissot Automatic features wear consistent with the age of this timepiece, with patina developing on the case near the crown, and on the linen dial and handset.  Included with this timepiece is an aftermarket brown leather strap with a buckle.
