Pre-Owned Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple GMT, Full Set

While Fortis is a known name to horological enthusiasts and watch collectors, its name might now be as familiar to all. Fortis is one of the few watchmakers in the world that remains, to this day, independent despite its rich history in Swiss watchmaking. Fortis was founded in 1912 by Walter Vogt. In 1926, Fortis, in collaboration with watch inventor John Harwood, created the first automatic watch to be put into production, thus setting the stage for the likes of many major brands we see on the market today, such as Rolex, Omega,and more. Later, in 1940, Fortis pioneered the way for one of the first water-resistant watches ever built.

The Flieger F-43 GMT features a 43mm titanium case with a bi-directional rotating 12-hour bezel and a sapphire crystal.  The black dial features vertical brushing, an outer ring with applied Brixtrak white hour markers, a 1-12 scale, an inner 24-hour scale, the Fortis Synchroline in orange between the 11 and 1 o’clock positions, lumed hour and minute hands, an orange seconds hand, an orange arrow-tipped GMT hand, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position.  Powered by the in-house WERK-13 automatic movement, the Flieger F-43 GMT features a 70-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 200 meters.

This Fortis Flieger F-43 GMT was purchased in April 2025 and is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty through April 2030. Included with this timepiece is the original box, the Fortis screwdriver, a cleaning cloth, the warranty card, the operating manual, the chronometer certificate, and the original titanium bracelet.
