Pre-Owned Fortis F-43 Bicompax on Block Bracelet, Full Set

While Fortis is a well-known name among horological enthusiasts and watch collectors, its name might now be as familiar to all. Fortis is one of the few watchmakers in the world that remains independent to this day, despite its rich history in Swiss watchmaking. Fortis was founded in 1912 by Walter Vogt. In 1926, Fortis, in collaboration with watch inventor John Harwood, created the first automatic watch to enter production, thus setting the stage for many major brands we see on the
market today, such as Rolex and Omega. Later, in 1940, Fortis pioneered the way for one of the first water-resistant watches ever built.

The Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax features a 43mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, and a coin-edge bidirectional rotating bezel with a 12-hour scale.  The black dial features vertical brushing, Fortis' patented Brixtrack lumed hour markers along with an outer minute track, the Synchroline highlight between the 11 and 1 o'clock positions, two sub-dials at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, a date window at the 6 o'clock position, and sword-style lumed hour and minute hands. Powered by the automatic movement, the F-43 Bicompax features a 48-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 200 meters.

This Pre-owned Fortis Flieger F-43 Bicompax includes the outer box sleeve, the inner box, the warranty card dated April 2023, the operating manual, the serial number hang tag, the Fortis cleaning cloth, the Fortis strap changing tool, and the original stainless steel Fortis block bracelet.
