  • The History:

Dubey & Schaldenbrand is a Swiss luxury watchmaker founded in 1946 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by master watchmakers Georges Dubey and René Schaldenbrand. The company earned recognition for its innovative mechanical chronographs, including the patented Index Mobile split-seconds chronograph system, which showcased its technical ingenuity.  In 1995, watch collector and entrepreneur Cinette Robert relaunched the brand, using a remarkable collection of vintage Swiss mechanical movements to reestablish the company. Today, Dubey & Schaldenbrand is known for producing exclusive, limited-production timepieces that combine rare mechanical calibers, distinctive Art Deco-inspired designs, and a commitment to preserving the traditions of fine Swiss watchmaking.

  • The Watch:

The Dubey and Schaldenbrand Gran Chrono features a 38mm x 47mm tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal.  The white dial features a guilloche pattern, with two sub-dials at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions, lumed hour and minute hands, and a date window at the 6 o’clock position.  The Gran Chrono is powered by an automatic, highly decorated, gold-plated movement.
