The Omega Company was founded by Louis Brandt in 1848 in Le
Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.  Brandt’s sons would later expand the company and begin to manufacture their own parts, including their first mass-produced caliber movement, the Labrador, in 1884.  They continued their work and, a decade later, made the 19-line OMEGA caliber, which gave the company its name. After the turn of the century, Omega became the official timekeeper for several sporting events, which led to their eventual selection as the single timekeeper of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1932.

The Constellation Ref 1503.30.00 features a 38mm stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet, a fixed bezel with Roman numerals, and a sapphire crystal.  The silver dial features a sunburst pattern with applied hour markers and a date window at the 3 o’clock position.  Powered by the Co-Axial Caliber 2500 movement, the Double Eagle has a 40-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 100 meters.
