The case also features Damasko’s signature submarine steel and DAMAST ultra durable coating along with fixed springbars for quick and easy strap changes. Whether you enjoy NATO style straps or two piece straps the Automat has a full range of strap possibilities to choose from accepting a 22mm lug with strap and unique set of two piece straps by Jörgf specifically for the Automat.

The Äonic Automat, the very first Äonic watch ever produced was made from high quality durable and technically advanced materials making it truly one of a kind. The Äonic Automat opperates by utilizing three independent discs to represent the hours, in jumping hours, minutes on the inner disc with the hand, and seconds on the very small inner disc. This unique design truly sets the Äonic Automat apart from the rest.

The Äonic Automat is truly a one-of-a-kind watch. We like it for many reasons, but foremost, the Äonic Automat is not meant to be a delicate piece, it is a tool with a purpose. Anything predominantly made by Damasko is ultra-durable, and the Äonic Automat is no exception. The ultra hard case with scratch and abrasion-resistant DAMAST coating, Sapphire Crystal, and fixed spring bars make the Automat extremely durable. The design and function of this watch make it a joy to use daily. The smaller-sized case, strap interchangeability, and ultra-legibility make it an incredible everyday companion, from suit and tie to hiking boots and ball cap. It's refreshing and exciting to see this kind of innovation both technically and design wise in a market steeped in similar trends and traditions.

MADE IN GERMANY

Jörg set out to make this watch predominantly in Germany with the help of some of the best German engineers, watchmakers, and producers. The case and movement are made by Damasko watches, a brand we know and love here at CW Watch Shop. The movement, a Damasko A26-1W, has the torque, reliability, and dependability to move the discs on the Automat without any issues, even though the discs are much heavier than traditional hour, minute, and second hands. The case, also made by Damasko, is unique in that it perfectly matches the domed sapphire crystal.
