  • The History:

Bulova was founded in 1879 by Joseph Bulova, an expatriate from the Czech Republic who came to America in 1860 at age 9.  The brand quickly gained recognition for its innovative, high-quality timepieces.  Upon opening a factory in Bienne, Switzerland, in 1912, Bulova continued to push the envelope in technological innovation and brand recognition, becoming the first watch brand to advertise on the radio in 1923 and, later, on television in 1941.

The Bulova N4 Jump Hour features a 36.5mm gold-plated stainless steel case with an acrylic crystal.  The dial features three discs representing the hours, minutes, and seconds in a display window that has a “digital” look.  A date window sits adjacent to the time window.  The Jump Hour is powered by the automatic Caliber 11 movement.
