Damasko DA36, Boxed 2172
About This Watch:
The Damasko DA 36 is a Flieger watch filled with the innovative design and engineering technologies that Damasko is known for. From its ice-hardened stainless steel case and bracelet to its patented screw-down crown mechanism and anti-magnetic integrated inner cage guard, the DA36 was built for reliability and longevity.
The History: Damasko is a family-run company founded in 1989 by Konrad Damasko. His focus was not just on making a nice wristwatch, he wanted to create a wristwatch that could withstand anything. One that would not only continue to be reliable but also one that would look as good as it did out of the box for years to come.
The Watch: The Damasko DA36 features an ice-hardened stainless steel 40mm case with a sapphire crystal. The crown system was designed and built in-house and includes crown tubes that screw directly into the case versus the pressure-fit style most manufacturers utilize, with a self-lubricating system that continues to oil the shaft and crown gaskets. The dial features the classic Flieger triangle at the 12 o’clock position, with large Arabic-style numerals, large sword-style hour and minute hands, and a bright yellow seconds hand. A day and date window is located just beneath the 3 o’clock position, underneath the Damasko logo. The matte black dial also features a cross-hair design that sections the dial into quadrants. Powered by an ETA 2836-2 movement, the DA36 has a 41-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 100 meters.
The Details: This Damasko DA36 is in very good condition, with minimal wear, as visible in the photographs. This timepiece comes on the Damasko stainless steel ice-hardened bracelet. Included are the inner and outer boxes, Damasko watch passport booklet, and strap changing tool.
