  • The History:

Dubey & Schaldenbrand is a Swiss luxury watchmaker founded in 1946 in La Chaux-de-Fonds by master watchmakers Georges Dubey and René Schaldenbrand. The company earned recognition for its innovative mechanical chronographs, including the patented Index Mobile split-seconds chronograph system, which showcased its technical ingenuity.  In 1995, watch collector and entrepreneur Cinette Robert relaunched the brand, using a remarkable collection of vintage Swiss mechanical movements to reestablish the company. Today, Dubey & Schaldenbrand is known for producing exclusive, limited-production timepieces that combine rare mechanical calibers, distinctive Art Deco-inspired designs, and a commitment to preserving the traditions of fine Swiss watchmaking.

  • The Watch:

The Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Duo features a 33mm x 44mm tonneau-shaped stainless steel case with a curved sapphire crystal.  The black dial features Art Deco-style Arabic numerals, a GMT dial near the 12 o’clock position, a date disc near the 6 o’clock position, a 24-hour indicator next to the 9 o’clock position, lume plots at the 5-minute markers, lumed hour and minute hands, and a red-arrow-tipped running seconds hand.  An ETA 2892-A2 automatic movement powers the Aerodyn Duo.

This Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aerodyn Duo includes the inner and outer boxes, the instruction manual, the guarantee card, the documents holder, and the original brown alligator leather strap with a stainless steel buckle.
