More Info
  • The History:

The Eterna Watch Company began with a partnership in 1856 between Dr. Joseph Girard and Urs Schild.  They started a watch movement factory in Grenchen, producing semi-finished and fully finished movements and innovating the production process by developing automatic manufacturing machines powered by natural stream water and steam engines.  The company’s first fully produced timepiece was released in 1876, with innovative timepieces following, such as the first series-production alarm wristwatch in 1914.

  • The Watch:

The Eterna-Matic Concept 80 features a 38mm brushed stainless steel case with an acrylic crystal and a crown bearing the Eterna 5 balls logo.  The silver dial features applied hour markers, lume plots at the end of each hour marker, baton hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position.  An automatic Caliber 1488K movement powers the Concept 80.
