Fears Watch Company was founded in 1846 by Edwin Fear in Bristol, England. The company grew to eventually export to 95 countries at the turn of the century, survived both World Wars, with all of their manufacturing facilities being bombed during each war, and eventually built a new factory and launched new models in 1946, in time for their centennial celebration. Closing its doors in 1976, Fears was relaunched by the great-great-great-grandson of Edwin Fear, Nicholas Bowman-Scargill. A former apprentice at Rolex, Scargill released the first new Fears timepiece, The Redcliff, in 2016.
The Fears X Collective Onyx Redcliff features a 39.5mm stainless steel case with a screw-down signed crown, a screw-down case back, a sapphire crystal, and a water resistance rating of 150 meters.
