Fortis 100th anniversary Limited Edition Marinemaster Vintage Chronograph Automatic Ref 800.20.173 179/500

Fortis is one of the few watchmakers in the world who remains independent to this day, with a rich history in Swiss watchmaking. Fortis was founded in 1912 by Walter Vogt. In 1926, Fortis, in collaboration with watch inventor John Harwood, created the first automatic watch to be put into production, thus setting the stage for the likes of many major brands we see on the market today, such as Rolex, Omega, and more. Later, in 1940, Fortis pioneered the way for one of the first water-resistant watches ever built.

The Marinemaster Chronograph Automatic Ref 800.20.173 features a 40mm polished stainless steel case with a domed acrylic crystal, a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black aluminum insert, and an
exhibition case back.  The black dial features a tachymeter scale along the outer edge, three sub-dials with orange accents, and orange hour, minute, and chronograph seconds hands.  The Anniversary Limited Edition Marinemaster is powered by an ETA 2892 movement with a Dubois Depraz chronograph module.
