  • The History:

Franck Muller spent 4 years at the Geneva School of Watchmaking, where he quickly developed a reputation for having exceptional technical talent and was commissioned to handle restoration and repairs for auction houses and private collectors, working on Patek Philippe and other notable brands.  During this time, the inspiration to design and build his own timepieces and complications grew and fostered the opening of Franck Muller in 1991 in partnership with Vartan Sirmakes.  Production of notable pieces like his tourbillon movements, the Crazy Hours timepieces, and the Revolution 2 and 3 gave Franck Muller his
designation as the “Master of Complications.”

  • The Watch:

The Franck Muller Casablanca Chronograph Ref 5850 C-CC features a 32mm stainless steel tonneau-shaped case with a sapphire crystal.  The salmon-colored dial features lumed numerals in a distinct art deco font,
with two sub-registers at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions.  The hour, minute, seconds, and sub-dial hands are blued and lumed.  The 5850 C-CC
is powered by a Lemania Caliber 1870 automatic chronograph movement.
