  • The History:

The Hamilton Watch Company was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, PA.  Initially producing pocket watches for use by the railroads, Hamilton was known for accuracy and reliability.  During WWI, Hamilton became a supplier to the U.S. Military, stopping production of consumer timepieces during WWII and solely focusing on providing wristwatches for the Armed Forces.  During the late 50s, they reintroduced themselves to the consumer market with bold case designs, as well as innovative firsts, such as the first electric watch (The Ventura) and the first digital watch (The Pulsar).

  • The Watch:

This timepiece features a solid 14K yellow gold square-shaped case with a domed acrylic crystal.  The dial features diamond hour markers and a small seconds dial with a crosshair pattern at the 6 o’clock position.  This watch is powered by the Hamilton manual-wind 22-jewel Caliber 770 movement.

This Hamilton 14K Square Case Diamond Dial timepiece includes an aftermarket brown leather strap.
