  • The History:

The Hamilton Watch Company was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, PA.  Initially producing pocket watches for railroads, Hamilton was known for accuracy and reliability.  During WWI, Hamilton became a supplier to the U.S. Military, stopping production of consumer timepieces during WWII and solely focusing on providing wristwatches for the Armed Forces.  In the late 50s, they reintroduced themselves to the consumer market with bold case designs and innovative firsts, such as the first electric watch (The Ventura) and the first digital watch (The Pulsar).

  • The Watch:

The Murph features a 42mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and an exhibition case back.  The black dial features large Arabic numerals with vintage-colored lume, lumed cathedral-style hour and minute hands, and a seconds hand featuring the word “Eureka” spelled out in Morse code.  Powered by an automatic H10 movement, the Murph has an 80-hour power reserve and is water-resistant to 100 meters.
