The Marathon Steel Navigator Black Ref. WW194001SS-0801 is a rugged, military-inspired pilot’s watch designed for precision, durability, and exceptional legibility.   • The History:

Founded in 1939 by Morris Wein, Marathon Watch Company initially supplied timepieces to North American retailers.  In 1941, Marathon began producing and supplying timepieces to the Allied Forces, a tradition that continues today.  Known for durable, reliable, accurate timepieces built to military specifications, Marathon watches are designed in Canada and manufactured in Switzerland.

The Marathon Steel Navigator Black Ref. WW194001SS-0801 features a 41mm stainless steel case with a bidirectional rotating bezel, a solid case back, and a sapphire crystal.  The black dial features tritium gas tube hour markers, an outer 12-hour scale, an inner 24-hour scale, tritium gas tube lumed hands, the H3 designation at the 9 o’clock position, and the radioactive emblem at the 3 o’clock. Powered by the ETA F06.402 HeavyDrive-PreciDrive Quartz, the Marathon has a water resistance rating of 100 meters.
