  • The History:

Roland Schwertner founded Nomos in 1990 in Glashütte, a city known for its storied history of fine watchmaking. Timepieces are designed in Berlin and produced in this small valley in the Ore Mountains just outside Dresden.  

  • The Watch:

The Nomos Tangomat GMT features a 40mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and an exhibition case back.  The white dial features Arabic numerals, blued hands, a small seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position, a window at the 9 o’clock position that displays the acronym for 24 different cities across the globe, and a window at the 3 o’clock position that displays the local time for that chosen city.  Powered by an automatic Caliber DUW5201 movement, the Tangomat GMT has a 42-hour power reserve.

This Nomos Tangomat GMT includes the original Nomos leather strap with a stainless steel buckle, the original outer box, and the inner Nomos leather case.
