Oak and Oscar The Humboldt GMT, Full Set

Born out of a desire to create his own watch brand, Chase Fancher created Oak & Oscar in 2015.  Named after his love of fine aged whiskey in oak barrels and the family dog, Mr. Fancher brings his love of his hometown of Chicago into every timepiece, by naming each piece after historical figures and locations in the Windy City.  Collaborating with local artisans such as the Horoween Leather Company and Stock Mfg, also based in Chicago, Oak & Oscar has created an independent watch brand that is truly proud of its roots.

The Oak and Oscar Humboldt features a 40mm stainless steel case with a 24-hour 120-click bidirectional bezel and a sapphire crystal.  The white dial features a sandwich-style lume plate underneath, which is visible through the middle of the dial, lumed hour and minutes hands, an orange running seconds hand, a lumed orange GMT hand, and a date wheel at the 6 o’clock position.  The Humboldt GMT is powered by an automatic Sellita 330 movement with a 56-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 200 meters.

This Oak and Oscar Humboldt GMT includes the original canvas watch case, the serial number watch manual card, an additional olive green Oak and Oscar nylon strap with a stainless steel buckle, and the original stainless steel Oak and Oscar bracelet.
