The Oak & Oscar The Atwood Flyback Chronograph is a thoughtfully executed modern chronograph that blends vintage racing aesthetics with contemporary watchmaking. Housed in a versatile 39mm stainless steel case, it features a classic tri-compax layout with Oak & Oscar’s signature sandwich dial construction, offering depth and exceptional legibility accented by subtle pops of orange. At its core is the manually wound Sellita AMT5100M caliber, a column-wheel, flyback chronograph movement with a robust 58-hour power reserve, delivering both mechanical refinement and precise timing.

  • The History:

Born out of a desire to create his own watch brand, Chase Fancher created Oak & Oscar in 2015.  Named after his love of fine aged whiskey in oak barrels and the family dog, Mr. Fancher brings his love of his hometown of Chicago into every timepiece, by naming each piece after historical figures and locations in the Windy City.  Collaborating with local artisans such as the Horoween Leather Company and Stock Mfg, also based in Chicago, Oak & Oscar has created an independent watch brand that is truly proud of its roots.

  • The Watch:

The Atwood features a 39mm stainless steel case, with a double-domed sapphire crystal and an exhibition case back.  The navy blue reverse panda sandwich dial features a wrapped tachymeter scale along the rehaut, sub-dials at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, with orange accents throughout.  Powered by the Sellita AMT5100M manual-wind flyback chronograph movement, the Atwood offers a 58-hour power reserve and 50-meter water resistance.
