The Sea Master is the longest-running product line in the Omega lineup. Initially produced in 1948 for the British Navy, the Sea Master marked Omega’s first use of the O-ring gasket for water resistance. Later, Sea Master models became popular due to their inclusion in the James Bond movies of the 1990s and remain so today.

The Seamaster Chronograph Ref 2598.20.00 features a 41.5mm stainless steel case with a polished unidirectional rotating bezel and a sapphire crystal. The dial features a unique white “wave” pattern, applied lumed indices, skeletonized lumed hour and minute hands, an orange lollipop chronograph hand, three sub-dials at the 12, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, a date window at the 3 o’clock position, and orange sub-dial hands. Powered by the chronometer-certified Omega automatic Caliber 1164 chronometer movement, the 2598.20.00 has a 44-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 300 meters.
