Established in 1950 by Charles and Hellene Von Büren, the Von Büren SA Watch Factory was built in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Drawing inspiration from their shared passion for diving and water sports, the Von Bürens’ focus was to design timepieces that could handle sub-aquatic environments, a field of watchmaking that had yet to be explored. Drass Galeazzi is a recognized leader in subsea technology, headquartered in Italy since the 1920s.

The Squale SUB 39 features a 39mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a unidirectional 120-click rotating bezel. The black dial features large Arabic numerals, a lumed handset with an orange minute hand, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Powered by the automatic Sellita SW200 movement, the SUB 39 has a 38-hour power reserve and a 300-meter water resistance rating.
