The History:
Tudor began producing watches in 1926, which could be marketed and manufactured as a more affordable timepiece than the Rolex line, while still maintaining the same standard of dependability that Rolex had become known for. Over the years, the product line grew to include the renowned Oyster Prince, as well as their diver watches, such as the Submariner and Pelagos Series.
The Watch:
The Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Ref. M97012M features a 39mm bronze case with a screw-down bronze winding crown engraved with the Tudor Rose, a unidirectional rotating bronze bezel, and a matte “brown and bronze”
anodized aluminum insert with a 60-minute scale. The matte “brown and bronze” dial features a gradient pattern, lumed hour markers, and a snowflake-style lumed hand set. Powered by the COSC-certified Caliber
MT5400 movement, the M79012M features a 70-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 200 meters.
