The History:
Tudor began to produce watches in 1926 that could be marketed and manufactured as a more affordable timepiece than the Rolex line while still maintaining the same standard of dependability that Rolex had become known for. Over the years, the product line grew to include the renowned Oyster Prince, as well as their diver watches such as the Submariner and Pelagos Series.
The Watch:
The Pelagos 25600TN features a 42mm titanium case with a unidirectional rotating titanium bezel with a ceramic insert and a sapphire crystal. The titanium winding crown features the Tudor crest in relief, and the helium release valve is at the 9 o’clock position on the case. The black dial features white lumed indexes, lumed snowflake-style hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Powered by an in-house COSC-certified Caliber MT5612 movement, the 25600TN has a 70-hour power reserve and a water resistance rating of 500 meters.
