Van Cleef & Arpels began with the marriage of Estelle Arpels and Alfred Van Cleef, who came from families that dealt in diamonds and precious stones.  Their passion for fine jewelry and craftsmanship led
to the partnership between Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels brothers to open the first boutique in Paris in 1906, which continues to operate from the same location on 22 Place Vendôme today.  

The Monsieur Calendar Dual Time features a 39mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal.  The case features a window on the side of the case, allowing a view of the movement, and a generational calendar on
the case back, with month, days, and dates, which are adjustable with the shoulder crown, with dates ranging from 2004-2092.  The stunning dial features elegant, elongated Roman numeral hour markers, three
mother-of-pearl sub-registers for the date, a second-time zone, and a power reserve.  The Monsieur Calendar Dual Time is powered by a Jaeger LeCoultre automatic Caliber 939 movement with a 40-hour power reserve.
